Day 145


Psalm 2:1-12 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’” Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

David continues to do well and to gain weight!!! Yeah!!! He weighed about 165 lbs. when he was injured and his weight went as low as 112 lbs. before he started to gain. He is now at about 122 lbs. (He is getting 4500 calories/day of the brown gunk [Isocal 2.0 for you medical types]) Jenny and I met with a group of nurses and others to discuss David's "Care Plan". We are very pleased overall and are encouraged. We hope to reduce some of his meds over the next few days. Just to catch you up on our plans. We have decided after ALOT of thought and looking and advice to convert our garage into a bed/bath/closet suit for David and then adding another garage at the end of the house. Emil Henning, a friend and elder at our church has been working with us on designs for the addition. We hope to start in a few weeks or so. David's suite would be "wheelchair-accessable" and we would make provisions for him to get to the rest of our downstairs. Please pray for our wisdom and descisions. Please continue to pray for David's improvement Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally.

Psalm 105:1-5 Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders. Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad. Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments uttered by His mouth,
