Day 150
Is.
43:1-4 But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who
formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have
called you by name; you are Mine! Is“When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the
flame burn you. “For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel,
your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your
place. “Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I
love you,
I
apologize for not updating the site for the past few days. I had an
unexpected opportunity to minister Christ: a 20 year old younger sister
of one of Daniel's good friends died in a one-car accident last
Wednesday. I ended up counseling with the family and performing the
funeral on Saturday. Pray for the MacDonald family in the loss of
Melissa.
David continues to do well. We want to thank all of you in the
Greenville area that have stopped by to see David. He really enjoys
visitors - any of you that have time, please stop by ANYTIME. Jenny and
I both continue to meet people that we didn't know before that are
praying for David. This really humbles us and makes us even more
confident that our Lord has some special purpose for David and us.
Please pray that David would continue to recover the ability to move
different parts of his body and the ability to speak. Ask our Lord to
grant us wisdom and Godly counsel as we oversee his care and make plans
to renovate our home to enable David to come home.
Rev.
5:1-10 I saw in
the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and
on the back, sealed up with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel
proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to
break its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the
earth was able to open the book or to look into it. Then I began to
weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to
look into it; and one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold,
the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has
overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” And I saw between
the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb
standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the
seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. And He came and took
the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. When He
had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four
elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden
bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they
sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and to break
its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood
men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. “You have made
them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon
the earth.”
